the marathon is coming soon, a time of logos painted in the road. last year it rained, a downpour more than anyone ever saw before and a group of halloween hangovers were stranded in the hard grove cafe on the other side of the hudson in jersey city waiting out the storm. martinis seemed in order but only one with an aversion to gin got his cz everyone else went for bloody marys while he was standing in the door. |
