I started the day by coating old skate wheels with bumper chrome and green glitter left over from Burning Man, whose 2001 theme was just announced. Andi had suggested I make ornaments.

And when I say started, I mean mid-afternoon. Not that that's when I woke up. Au contraire, it was an early start for a Satuday, considering how late we were up the night before. But it wasn't until afternoon that things started shaking. I spent most of the day unpacking.

It's been over three months since we moved.
