When I first moved to Seattle, the weather was decent
for a day or two. Then, the curtain fell on the dreariest winter anyone could
remember--100 days in a row when it rained at least a little, and was grey
an awful lot.
About 3 weeks into that dismal marathon, I spent two days fiddling with free
Vision Sampler Software I found online. I plugged in Windows 95 system sounds
and manipulated the four tracks until I found combinations I liked, then
I taped them, rearranging elements on the fly.
Almost five years later, I've finally gotten around to editing the tape.
This is the result.
Running time: 52 minutes.
