GAP on the chest, Old Navy american flag, Nike hat-- the inane pride of people who pay to be ads. there are at least two ways to interpret this picture: it's Valentine's day, so maybe it's saying, Follow your heart instead of your head. but i doubt it. the clearer message it sends is, You are a faceless, mindless unit in search of identity and companionship. adopt our sweatshop-produced mass-marketed look and you too will blend casually into the bland uniformity of the sterile world of conformity we are creating for you. the candy looks sweet but watch out for those hooks.  |
