i went back to
conworks today
to de-install my
photo-lined
shipping crate
only to find it
had completely
fallen apart! yo!
jakub, the son of
my friend mirek,
visiting from the
czech republic,
put it in perspect-
ive: your art had
its own idea of
what it wanted to
be. actually, i
think it was a big
improvement, es-
pecially apt since
the theme of the
exhibit was the
deterioration of
memory. it itself
is now a memory,
a future reminder
of a time when
my life fell apart
to be built afresh. |
