What a wild weekend. After 41 hours on the
train, I was especially glad to be back among
friends in Seattle.
Yesterday, bought a bottle of Bombay Sapphire
for Linda & Jesse, a thank you for keeping
company with Miso.
(I further thanked them by drinking half of it.)
Before that we walked in Peace March around
downtown with an
estimated 5,000 other concerned citizens. The
[s]hell t-shirt gift from Frank sure got a lot
of attention.
Jesse and I attached origami doves to our bikes.
As far as I could tell, we were the only
PEACE PEDALERS, but I'm
hoping our numbers will grow. |

I've gone gaga for
origami.
So far I can only do doves,
but can cats be far behind?
Today, I attached eight to a white balloon at
Dylan and Angela's scenic outdoor wedding
ceremony.
Getting there was half the fun--mad afternoon
bikeride to
pick up the balloon at special rendezvous at
the U., then slow
cranking through University District with huge
white balloon floating
low over bicycle, bumping the back of my head,
it miraculously missed
by less than an inch a profusion of protruding
thorny blackberry vines. Lucky.
There are 8 because that number represents two
circles joining to form symbol of infinity.
