Ominous Parallels: I arrived by train in Seattle
October 28 1998. The weather was pretty nice for two days,sun and clouds. Then the curtain fell on 100 grey days in a row.... I arrived by train in Seattle October 30 2006. The weather was pretty nice for two days, clear and cold. Now the curtain's fallen again and there's a feeling to it like it's not going to stop before June. But it's a warm rain . You get used to it. Why stay dry, anyway? |
