tourists flock to
prague lured by images such
as the one on the left, but what they often get
is the
shuffle
and sway of a tourist bottleneck.
i had never seen
charles
bridge (karluv most)
quite this crowded and would have avoided it
except it's usually a pretty convenient way to
cross the
river and
sean had never seen it. it
took us 15 minutes or more to worm our way
through the herd. the crowd was so oppressive
i couldn't help but laugh: "i'm so happy we can
all be here together!" i said and really meant
it.
