Seattle's really changing. In the old days a doctor would have been bribed to adjudge the old lady insane, but somehow she held on to her house despite million-dollar offers and died only after they'd already boxed her in. LA Fitness Signature Club is now open for business. It seemed like a good plan at the time--thousands of spendy new condos just around the block on the other side of 15th Avenue in Ballard. Problem is most of them still sit vacant. The new Trader Joe's might be handy, though I wouldn't want to shop there after nearby Mars Hill Church lets out. |
