This
is where I ate my first meal in Seattle--Paseo in Fremont.
That was lucky. It remains unsurpassed for deliciousness.
Cash only, there's always a line out the door. And I love that
they use their enormous success to shut down, relax, and
reconnect instead
of always chasing more profit. I wonder
why more successful businesses don't do this. I also wonder
why we haven't improved on the length of the
work
week
since 40 became the norm 100 years ago. And couldn't we
solve unemployment by spreading the work among more
people who work shorter hours? Greed is the only
obstacle. |
