Another
memorable
birthday
in
a
string of
memorable
birthdays. They called it
practice but it felt like a private concert when Le Sang Song rehearsed in
the acoustically lovely Indian
Summer space. Vito's
grand re-opening was
tempting but we thought it wiser to get within walking distance of home
and so made it down to the penultimate night of the Buckaroo
where it
was asses to elbows as the ebullient crowd went at their beer with
gusto. The Buck has been a landmark since 1938 and it's sad to see it
go. Then down the alley--aka, beer highway--back home, careful on this
rainy night not to smoosh snails.
