The live trap caught a couple of sows today. After a few unsuccessful roping attempts one was shot and the other flushed into a cage. But in the end it was too big and ornery to move so it too was dispatched with a bullet and butchered. I've been a "vague"-etarian for years--mostly veggie but eating meat on occasion. But this cavalcade of bloodletting on the farm is firming my resolve.... |
