| Maui never ceases to amaze. The more places I go, the less I know. I mean this a couple different ways. The concept of fractals was partly inspired by frustrated attempts to measure coastline. How long is your yardstick? So though Maui looks small from a distance, closer scrutiny reveals it to be endless, microcosmically various. In every new nook there's an abundance of fascinating flora, fauna, and history. It's humbling to the inch. |
