Today's cool grey with
intermittent sprinkles and sunbreaks is the mid-June Seattle
weather I love and we need more of after a
hot dry spring. I revisited the doors at
Indian
Summer, almost six years
since I first scraped, sanded, and coated
them, long
overdue some freshening up. That's my boombox in
the window, a sweet relic of
simpler times. Got it at a garage
sale for $5, it worked
great until sadly it ate Will's
Turkish
psych tape. I had a pleasant feeling of
being outside of time as I walked up
East Mercer from Summit to 16th, plotting the world I want
to write into existence. |
