we create and share
so much on the fly
there's no time left
to recollect
my computer was out
of commission and an
afternoon obligation
fell through so i caught
a moment on the couch
i leafed through 'zines i've made
for friends of shared adventures
it got me thinking how there used
to be a lag, like resting a muscle,
be-
tween snapping pix and getting
prints
now memories are outsourced to the
cloud,
algorithms regurgitate reminders like
clockwork,
your own past just another fleeting
distraction
as you nibble
on down the bottomless feed
