At
least when it comes to pothole repair, Hawaii
style is alive and well in Seattle.
These big dudes jumped out their
truck with heavy bags of asphalt they plopped
unopen in the hole.
They didn't bother with cones or directing
traffic. They just ran out and did their jobs as
cars and a double
gondola gravel trailer brushed past. They
split the bags open with pointed shovels, tugged
away the plastic shreds
leaving a little malleable mound in the middle
of the intersection which would sooner or later
get mashed down
by passing trucks, just like they do it on the
backroads of Maui, out
past mile marker 31....
