The Wayward Music Series is an edgy treasure in a city that is rapidly homogenizing.
Everything about it is a delight. Presented in the chapel of a former convent, the setting
itself encourages reverence and careful listening to programming which emphasizes
"adventurous and experimental music" at an affordable sliding scale price of $5-15.
  I was drawn there tonight by artist, movie star, and rock legend Matt Wainwright
(pictured here), who performed in Ben McAllister's Mandalas for 11 Electric Guitars.
