millions of people. IBM
was not exceptional
in
tossing its moral compass
overboard, but they were
among the few who faced no
blame and took pure profits.
they did it by serving both
sides more or less equally.
whoever won, they'd get
theirs regardless--before,
during, and after the war.
there were heroes,
too.
but most went along with it,
as most almost always do.
