i never would have
guessed i'd be spending
today in wintry michigan
grating
carrots for ferment-
ation. life is like that. where
will i be 21 years from now?
will this page still exist? will
the jars of 'kraut we started
still be sitting on a shelf
awaiting a brave or desperate seeker
to taste them? if the answer to last 2
questions is yes and you happen
to be that person, bear in
mind this simple rule
of thumb: if it tastes
good, it is good
