| Snow
continued today. I had a client meeting exactly
two miles away, opted to walk instead of sacrificing my parking spot with so many staying home and the side streets icy in our high elevation neighborhood. Seattle is hilly and the roads can be a shit show with even the slightest frosting. Anyway, walking in the snow is always a pleasure and I wasn't alone. The other day I took this bike out in the rain and almost lost it in a downhill skid--coaster brakes and steep slick streets don't go well together and I had to literally dig in my heels to stop. What a rush! The air was brisk and the sun even broke through for just a few golden moments... |
