came out in solidarity with black lives matter despite it being a very rainy weekday. the somber, silent march followed a 2-mile route through the central district—until 1968 one of the only places in seattle where people of color (including jews) could buy homes, which has now been gentrified almost beyond recognition. the past two weeks have been intense, covering many of the most popular emotions, but the weirdest thing has been witnessing events first-hand then watching how they're mischaracterized in the media and by the online rabble who weren't there but still feel compelled to share their VERY STRONG OPINIONS. |
