today was a perfect pacific
northwest young summer day, and like any good
fairytale it started with a walk through an
enchanted wood, which is what seattle was for
millennia until quite recently. those ghosts
whisper at this large corner lot nestled in a
valley's lower slope, little horsey surreal as that
styx album cover that introduced me to
grownup art. it seems trite and sophomoric now,
but at 10 years old it was heady, sophisticated
stuff. so add a dash of time travel to this
story.... |
