had the lodge to myself last night. slept in the master
bedroom and woke early. ran my hands over floors i
installed in 2017. brewed some coffee. stepped outside
and sipped it. slowly. but still faster than this slug had
its breakfast. my god, talk about Lovecraftian horror!
that gaping mouth with its 10,000 tiny teeth, inexorably
grinding living greens in what appears to be slow-mo
but is not. given a chance it would feast on you and me.
