| my neighbor asked me to
help him erect this quonset storage shed (on piers to stay above king tide's high water mark), ribs already bolted together by him and his wife. the crew included 3 carpenters, 1 union rigger, a retired high-rise builder, and 2 handy DIYers who could turn pro if they ever needed the money. i was first to arrive and last to leave, 3.5 hours up and down ladders, a true test of my torn calf's re- covery. |
