Free Fremont Car Free Fremont takes place on Canal St and 35 th St between Phinney Ave and 1st Ave in Fremont, right next to the Burke-Gilman Trail. It is also easily accessible by bus. Take the 26 to downtown Fremont, or the 28 to Phinney Ave.
