My mother
called me twice from the hospital today. "I'm
losing faith," she said.
"In what?" I asked.
"My faith," she said, "My faith is getting smaller."
"Your faith in what?"
"Not my faith, my faith." Her accent is hard even
for me to understand at times, but I finally
figured it out—face.
"My mouth is so small now. I lost 20 pounds in
two days." |
