| Aerobatic stunt teams amaze crowds by flying tip to tip in formation, trailing multicolored streams of gas behind them. But when they collide, sometimes killing spectators with their smoking shrapnel, I have to laugh--after all, death is what these machines are all about so it's only fitting when the civilian audience suffers "collateral damage" from "friendly fire." Kind of puts the purpose of these "warbirds" into "perspective," don't you think? | |
