is Steve's
model for a public sculpture. Is it a bald eagle or a golden eagle? The eagle represents liberty and strength, the salmon represents fertility. The pedestal is basalt, which is bedrock, the shell of the earth, what land is made of, iron and minerals. Past, Present, and Future--which is which and why?
