Bruce asked me to go fishing
on the Peninsula with him
and I took the bait. I'd need
a rainsuit, so I picked one up
at Fred Meyer for $14.95
and got a license to boot.
We rode a ferry, drove a bit,
drank some beer, looked
at the ocean, fished.
It was quite beautiful
and the best part
was the quickly slipping hours
we stood in silence watching
the river go by.
