Spoke with John Reich long distance from Texas. On their recent trip,
he fulfilled his father's dream by taking a leak off the Great Wall of China.
I think that's great.
Met a guy on the beach named Jose who complained of the long walk to the
tanning salon--although it's plenty sunny here in Miami, he prefers the parlor
because it saves him the trouble of turning over. He was funny.
For sidewalk supper I met Elena Ruz. She's a sandwich made of turkey, cream
cheese, and strawberry marmalade. With onion soup she had a great taste.
The waiter brought me my change--dull shine of dime caught my eye, '64 Roosevelt
made of silver and I write to you from white-on-white Room 1121 at the
