too much stuff will be the death of me
(how tragic to be crushed beneath yr. possessions) so i sent out an email and piled the dining table with books i never thought i'd sell. the day went well, with friends in and out all day, most of them taking some small portion of my stuff away: Slim the Made-in-China skeleton, the headless rocking horse, the grocery store chalk board, the noiseless underwood portable (same model hemingway used), an ambassador stamp album, a shelfload of books and a few slim records. it felt so good to take this step toward freedom that i'll be doing it again and again, at the sunday market and by appointment. send email to rob@z....com and i'll put on some coffee.
