spacer Snow here is a rarity. Reactions vary. The most common is an epidemic of irresponsibility. With no plows and few sanders, chains go on tires and buses jack-knife into trees. Better were snowboards and x-country skis.
People with the best intentions to "work from home" end up sliding down empty streets on plastic garbage bags. I got as far as setting up my tools before I succumbed to snow madness. We trekked in search of the perfect hill, tried various streets and Kinnear Park before finally settling at the Queen Anne Bowl, which we knew would be good because there was blood in the snow and someone else was being carried out on a stretcher.
