We drove to Marlinton,
WV, rented canoes for the
10-mile voyage down the
Greenbrier
River to Watoga
State Park where we were to camp in relative luxury--
dish sink, flush toilets, and hot showers! It's all about
the water. The river was running relatively high after
lots of rain but it was still barely knee-deep most of the
way. We stopped at what swimming holes there were
and game 4-year-olds Hank and Luke Adams got some
practice putting their faces in and floating into mama's
arms.
