Do you see the
horses? They were so big up close but receded in the distance. As the riders passed I asked if I could put my 46-lb bag on the back of their pack animal but they just laughed. As if I were joking. I was a little worried about the long downhill hike with so much weight on me. In Seattle recently I hurt my knees after a long toddle downtown. Must have been the shoes and unforgiving concrete. Yeah, my legs grew sore after we finally stopped at Kapalaoa cabin. Maybe I should've just kept on... |
