watch The Moon Is Down
                        (1943)
What do you do when fascists take over? John Steinbeck's The Moon Is Down lays it out plain: RESIST. Who would have guessed this 1943 film (and the novel it's based on) would be so timely in 2017? But then again the fascist tendency has been with us since WW2, it's just out in the open now. As 4Shadows sang long ago, "The only problem with fascism is most people like it." That's the insidious thing--the tipping point comes when a critical mass of citizens accept it, either out of fear, apathy, or ignorance. Now how do we overcome generations of lackluster education and corporate brainwash?
