this is just one
aspect of The Orcas Job--
newly framed rough openings for a pair of
salvaged 6'x6' 24-pane windows. it's a
relief to be just the helper after 3
years of running my own
jobs; somehow, the pay
is better, too.
i guess i should
be charging more!
the days are long,
the work hard, but
each day ends at
nearby Doe Bay
Resort sauna and
hot tubs, so that
helps a lot. it's so
quiet here, life
reduced to the
basics: work,
eat, and sleep--
which leaves a
lot of room to let
in thought.
