It's
about an hour by transit from
Capitol Hill to Lincoln Park but it's
well worth the trip. When summer is in full
effect, there's no place
finer than the Pacific Northwest. The ocean
off Maui is warmer
but the water here is just as salty.
A dozen or so friends gathered to
celebrate Jen's
birthday with a seaside picnic heavy on the
Rosé.
People and birds came and went, each
following their own path.
We threw and batted endless
rocks at arbitrary targets and
laughed.
