Sometimes
I think buying a
broken-down sailboat was one of the
stupider things I've done, but then there's
days like today when 6 of us gathered aboard
to while away the afternoon without leaving
the slip. What's the difference, anyway? All
the motorboat traffic on the lake kicked up
so much chop we pitched
and rolled as if on the high seas and
the whole experience was pleasant as fuck.
As this photo illustrates, it all comes down
to perspective.
The mini lighter on the left looks bigger
than the regular one on the right. Same
thing with problems, regrets, etc.--hold
them close and they loom large. |
