not many record stores left in south philly, according to noise pollution owner jack. he says it's a hard business but he's proud to've avoided a regular job for 27 years and was quick to recommend repo records around the corner--"they're better than me." humble guy and good to talk to. from there walked to ISM, admired cobblestones near independence hall, rode the subway to 40th, stopped for a couple at smokey joe's before dinner and game night at daniel tucker's house, then had fun watching plucky rats as we waited for the train back to our place at 810 south 10th. |
