The weather
cleared and we motor/sailed
(just the jib) to Cypress Island, a real gem
that's mostly public land. We
anchored (after three failed attempts) in the
cove just north
of Eagle Harbor. The Salish Sea is never warm but this was the
coldest water
I've swum here. I rowed Thomasashore
to scout deer trails for a future hunting
trip then went
back aboard and soaked up the vibes. Sometimes you
have to travel
far to appreciate the power of staying in
place.
