summer's barely over yet here we go, halloween hyped since august and now sold in tandem with christmas, which makes for all sorts of curious juxta- positions. confusing matters more was how sunny and warm it was today after a couple of weeks of clouds and rain, welcome conditions for laying down impermeable membrane on a deck job. painting makes a short day and i got away just in time to see sarah off at king street station, #8 amtrak to chicago, then change twice for philadelphia. bon voyage! |
