perpetual pandemic
and impending economic collapse left me relatively unfazed—when you live life at the fringes, you're less affected when the center drops out. but miso's sudden mysterious affliction has us shook. something went wrong with her jaw and now she finds it so uncomfortable to chew or drink she's starting to lose weight. vet says it won't heal but she should get used to it well enough to eat on her own by and by, but until then we're trying to fatten her up like foie gras, squirting food, water, and CBD into back of mouth. she takes it like a pro. |
