in many ways,
this pandemic is bringing about the world i
prefer--the general
slowdown, people reclaiming streets, a renaissance
of long aimless walks, the return to
simpler pleasures. it's a glimpse of a more
sustainable society, a pause to reflect and
reassess priorities. but! given who controls the media bubbles
we inhabit, it will take a conscious effort
to break free of the relentless
"back to normal" growth at all costs narrative
pushed by greedy elites. what can we
do to keep this rediscovered way of life aloft?
