This past week was a drag. I was sick,
down with a sinus infection, probably
triggered by who knows what combo of
sawdust, mold, fumes, and pollen inhaled
during the Petty Island build,
one day of
which I got soaked through
and chilled by
rain. I barely left bed for days, let alone the
house, so it was a relief to finally get over
it and accompany Sarah
to Tacony Creek,
where she completed the third of 17
installations she's
building at various
sites across Lenapehoking--the Delaware
River Watershed. Each one is unique to
its location, site specific design and made
of materials harvested
from the landscape.
The intent is to engage the public and
by the looks of the smiles of these
two random passersby, it's working!
