allison texted from the beach at mile marker 14, so we carried the kayak across the street and threaded the reef to join them, however brief. QT with cutie king tut, then off to brooke's birthday bash at baldwin, which was quite a scene. one big reason maui feels like home is we have such good friends here and the aloha spirit makes forming new connections easier than in a certain city known for its freeze. |
