Once Upon A Bus in the West

a city is all
lines & grids
where some
trajectories
intersect but
most get lost
in the mist of
   of probability.
today 2 paths
   crossed as we
    passed matt's
     truck in a bus
   along the
       waterfront,
       he and jesse
        going like us
      to reset fest
        at behest of
          beef & rich.
         we didn't
         hold our
           lead long
        and they
   beat us there
                because buses
                 stop a lot and we
                    had a leg yet to walk....
