somehow i keep thinking i should be doing more-- Quick! before all life elapses what have i done so far? certainly not as much as i could have but what for? must we always strive? isn't buddha stasis the goal simply exist in the moment? all i seem to want now is to want something more instead i'm content to stare at the back of a cat's head on a day when staying warm and dry is achievement enough --but the spell is broken by a trip to seattle first time venturing forth in 10 days, i'm becoming a barnacle, stuck in place |
