solstice observance that invited participants
to each take a three-hour shift to embed in the
environment and respond in their own
personal ways. amber, a journalist with a keen
interest in local history, kicked things
off with a storytelling session where she shared her
research into the twana
peoples,
whose ancestral lands we now inhabit. she was
followed by sandi, who sat alone on
the beach from 10pm-1am, just listening intently to
the wind, water, and wildlife....
