does time flow through us or do we move through time? do we use money or does money use us? it's called currency because it flows like water or electricity. it's restless and every time you touch it there's an exchange of energy. given our present social structure, money is a necessary evil, but i'll take every chance i get to meet basic life needs outside of the dollar system, preferring informal barter and basic neighborliness. bill has logs and a splitter, we have time and skills to help with his projects. the result after 3 hours of splitting and stacking is a good start on a supply of firewood for supplemental heating. |
