they say machines are
coming for all our jobs,
so it seems only fair to take
at least one task away from
them, so i
drew this qr code
by hand for the merch table
at tonight's Le Sang Song
LP release at Clockout
Lounge. (i was selling the
7" i put out recently and
still have lots of, hint hint.) Iro
Iro broke the night open
with motorik rhythms, synth
undulations, bent guitar, and
ethereal theremin.
next up: Idol Ko Si, who disappeared
into the graphic
fodder of drummer matt ford, conjuring
a sound palette that at times
blurred the line between music
and noise but always with a
deft touch for every texture.
in contrast, Le Sang Song
closed with harmonies sweet
as a kiss--until you tune into
the lyrics and feel the bite of teeth sharpened just for this.
